I can’t believe I’ve lived on the West Coast for over 30 years and just discovered Vancouver. My husband and I decided, spur of the moment to book an end of summer vacation. It was his internist who actually suggested Vancouver.

It’s a two and a half hour flight from Los Angeles and you’re in another country, and what a country it is! So green and lush, clean, fresh air and Pacific Ocean breezes follow you everywhere, as you are surrounded by water on this amazing peninsula.

There are so many things to do and my husband and I tried to squeeze in as many of them as possible.

The food was another highlight of our trip. So many great, well established restaurants with rich history and delicious food. We dined on fresh seafood every night. Steamed, roasted, broiled, baked and seasoned exquisitely. Fresh fruits and vegetables were plentiful and whether sautéed, baked, steamed or fresh they were sweet and yummy!

I highly recommend this beautiful city to anyone who wants to have something to do every minute of the day or just wants to chill and walk or bike along the longest, uninterrupted waterfront path in the world.

We were there a week and we both took overhead suitcases,
the only way I travel these days.
I brought three pair of Pants. Classic, Classic 28” and Audrey Crop, a black and slate Christina Tunic, both black and white Boyfriend Shirts, a white V Neck and black Reversible tank, a Selena Wrap and a Charlotte Shrug- and I always bring my Jetsetter. I was so happy I did, as the plane was freezing.

I had plenty of room in my suitcase for 2 pair of shoes, underwear, PJ’s and room for souvenirs and a few clothing finds.

I had more than enough clothes, I could have packed less, but I love options!
